2026 San Antonio Spring Trip

This year, the MGM Viking Band will be travelling to San Antonio, Texas to perform in the Battle of the Roses parade!

Please be aware of the following policies regarding trips with the MGM Band. 
  • NO children that are outside of the MGM Band are allowed to attend the trip with the band program. 
  • Parents/Guardians only are allowed to attend the trip with students. No other family, UNLESS that member is a legal guardian.
    • Adults on the trip must adhere to MCPSS policies regarding Alcohol and Tobacco.
  • Your band fees must be paid in full by the deadline covered at the parent meeting in order to attend the trip. 
  • Any discipline issue can result in loss of trip privilege's at directors discretion
    • Refunds are at Travel Leaders Student Tours discretion according to their policies. 

Fundraising/Payment Policies
  • If all of your band fees are paid off, your fundraising money can be applied to the trip.
    • Fundraising money will be applied to trips at the end of the month, starting in October.
    • If you fundraise more than you have already paid, Travel Leaders will reimburse the card you paid with for the overage amount. 
  • Please ensure all payments are done through Travel Leaders. The school will not accept payment for the trip, and will only deal with fundraiser money. 
  • Ensure that you use an email that you check regularly to sign up. Invoices and Account statements are sent to the email you sign up with. 
    • The school will not be able to give you a balance on your account. All of that information is stored on the Travel Leaders side. 
  • BUY TRIP INSURANCE THROUGH TRAVEL LEADERS - We have had a few unfortunate instances where families could not get a refund for last minute emergencies. 
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that your trip is caught up on payment deadlines. With CutTime, you can see how much fundraising money you have on your students account.
